Barbara Ann DePaolis
Freedom - Barbara Ann "Bobbie" DePaolis, 91, of Freedom, passed away February 16, 2022 in her home. Born June 18, 1930 in Freedom, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Clark and Dorothy Honard Coulter. She was a past employee of the former Freedom Oil Company, a front desk clerk at the Condado Beach Hotel, Puerto Rico, and the former Penn Beaver Hotel, Rochester, an office worker with the Pettibon Dairy of Rochester and a sales person with the Avon Company for many years. She was a member of the St. Felix R.C. Church, Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Freedom, and enjoyed boating, fishing, swimming, crafts and but mostly loved being with her entire family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 65 years, Casper J. DePaolis in 2017. She was also preceded by one granddaughter, Kimmey Curcio; one great, great grandson, Zyon Taylor; a sister and brother in law, Betty and Paul Wagley; four sisters and four brothers in law, Pauline and Paul Rusnak, James E. and Flora Steel, Sr., Joseph DePaolis, Clarita DePaolis, and Lena and Febo Catano.
She is survived by three daughters and three sons in law, Michele and Ben Davis, Freedom, Beth and Randy Curcio, Sr., Freedom, and Alesia "Tish" and James Hohbach, Patterson Hgts.; three granddaughters, Richelle Schuller, and her companion, Steve Davis, Kristen and Mike Phillips, all of Freedom, Breann and Justin Conklin, California; one grandson, Randy Curcio, Jr., Conway; seven great grandchildren, Keara Schuller, Evan Seiber, Ryland and Silas Phillips, all of Freedom, Coulter and Kayden Curcio, Conway, Preston Conklin, California; one great, great granddaughter, Lala Schuller; two brothers in law and two sisters in law, Fran DePaolis, Palatine, Illinois, Carlo DePaolis, Leavenworth, Kansas, Lawrence A. and Marjorie DePaolis, New Sewickley Twp.; numerous wonderful nieces and nephews; Kathy Stevenson, Conway, to whom she thought of as an adopted daughter; beloved friends, Glen and Dale Wallace, Freedom, Pasha and Manney Holmes, and Pam Kelley, all of New Sewickley Twp.
A Private Family Viewing and Prayer Service will be on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Freedom.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
The family would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice Caretakers, especially her nurse, Lori, Theresa, and her caregiver and friend, Patience, for the care and comfort given to our mother.
