Cloud Computing Advantages Benefits Free up your IT staff
FiberLineCommunications.com Cloud Computing Advantages Benefits - Free up your IT staff to contribute directly to the bottom line of your business Hello, I #39;m Rachael Ruble with FiberLine Communications. Thank you for joining us for the latest in our series on the advantages of cloud computing. This week we will discuss how cloud computing frees up your IT staff for projects that directly increase the profits of your company. If your company is like most businesses, your IT staff invest the vast majority of their time maintaining the IT infrastructure of your company. Because IT personnel are a limited resource, tactical IT duties often prevent IT personnel from proactively contributing to more important projects that will directly contribute to the bottom line of your business. With cloud computing, your IT department is no longer required to spend all of their time building and maintaining an inflexible and inefficient IT infrastructure. Cloud computing enables the IT staff of your company to instantly add IT resources for the emergent needs of your company, or so that your company can enjoy the flexibility needed to try new projects that meet the exact needs of your customers in a timely manner, or try projects that could pay off big for your company in the future. Cloud computing also allows your company to quickly eliminate applications that are obsolete and no longer contributing to the profits of your business. Thank you for joining us for this discussion. Cloud computing advantages benefits, efficient server utilization – Video

Cloud computing advantages benefits, efficient server utilization
FiberLineCommunications.com Cloud computing advantages benefits, efficient server utilization Thank you for joining us for the latest in our series on the advantages of cloud computing. This week we will discuss the cloud computing advantage of efficient server utilization. Prior to the availability of virtualization and cloud computing, when a business needed computer applications, such as email, to improve their efficiency, they would need to obtain a server which would be dedicated to only one specific application. Each server costs between $3000 to $20000. As mentioned earlier, prior to cloud computing and virtualization, each application needed by your business, would require a separate server. Since most businesses require multiple applications, multiple servers often led to "server sprawl". If the public cloud is utilized, businesses can often completely eliminate the need for, and all of the expenses associated with, on-premise servers, while at the same time increasing their application options and flexibility. With cloud computing, businesses are now able to obtain flexible access to virtually any application without the need to invest in building and maintaining an expensive IT infrastructure.
