I can type just as easily on this laptop than any 15 inch model (as long as I don #39;t need a 10-key). The screen looks great, I would certainly categorise it as a matte screen. I only booted into Windows twice before I wiped the hard drive and installed linux, but there didn #39;t seem to be much bloatware on the original install. The extra asus programs that were added seemed like they would be useful to a windows power user. It includes fast access to the asus cloud storage and a few other neat utilities.
