The announcement was made today at the International Avaya Users Group (IAUG) Global Education Conference in Boston.

E911 Manager integrates with major call servers/PBXs to track the detailed location all types of phones on the enterprise network including analog, digital, SIP, H.323, WiFi and softphones. The application then automatically updates the location information used by call takers in public safety answering points (PSAPs) throughout the country to dispatch emergency response.

E911 Manager works seamlessly with the leading platform providers including Avaya, Cisco and Siemens and supports SIP endpoints and voice platforms.

Optional modules extend the capabilities of E911 Manager to meet a wide range of enterprise needs. For example, Emergency On-Site Notification monitors all call servers/PBXs for outbound 9-1-1 calls and alerts administrators, security and on-site responders of emergency calls in-progress along with the location of the caller.
