3Di, Inc. Announces New Releases of 3Di Cloud to Support Large-Scale Avatar Social Communities: Enterprise Edition …

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

3Di, Inc., which develops and offers 3D Internet solutions (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; representative Director and CEO: Satoshi Koike), announces new releases of 3Di Cloud, a cloud service supporting easy creation of 3D avatar-oriented virtual worlds. The new offerings include the large-scale Enterprise Edition and Unlimited Edition, as well as a free-of-charge Community Edition. Sales are expected to start on October 5, 2012.

A license for the Enterprise Edition allows creation of a maximum of 10,000 separate virtual spaces and 500 simultaneous user connections. The price is USD 499 per month.

The Unlimited Edition places no limit on the number of separate virtual spaces that can be created, and is available based on an individualized revenue share agreement.

An additional new offering, the Community Edition, allows no-charge usage of 3Di Cloud servers, on the condition that the users' 3Di Cloud project files and contents are published as open source.

Previously offered Personal Edition and Professional Edition licenses will migrated to the new monthly billing system.

The Community Edition may be used free of charge, if the user's project files and contents are published as open source. One virtual space can be created.
