Cloud service provider DC Two to float on the ASX as DC2 – iTMunch

Managed cloud service provider DC Two is all set to make its debut on the ASX after raising $5.5 million via its Initial Public Offering (IPO). DC Two said the proceeds of the IPO will be used to grow its cloud service offerings. It will also be used to expand its channel partners network and customer base outside of its current reach in addition to a facility in Victoria.

The Perth-based data centre operator offers its services to over 300 enterprises across the Northern Territory and Western Australia via 40+ resellers. They deliver their services through their own data centres in Darwin and Perth.

Co-founder and Managing Director of DC Two, Justin Thomas says these are very exciting times in terms of growth and development for DC Two and the Australian cloud and data centre market. Thomas adds that by 2025, the Australian data centre market is forecasted to grow to $3.76 million and they have their sight firmly set on increasing their market share in this industry.

Undoubtedly, he adds, the pandemic has pushed more users to go online and increased their reliance on digital tools for remote learning, remote working, online shopping and video conferencing and this in turn has led to a surge in demand for data centre capacity and cloud services in the country. DC Twos ambition is to become a major and leading player in this space.

Subject to attaining respective accreditations, DC Two is expecting to become the only cloud provider in Western Australia with their ISO 27001 ISMS accredited cloud platform as well as Uptime Institute accredited Tier 3 data center.

The data centre services provider is also to unveil its DC Soft line of cloud management software and data centre products to the cloud hosting market. This software includes a customer portal along with software management capabilities that automates license reporting in data centre and cloud environments.

The company said this software brings robust automation capabilities and other enhancements on the Cloud Service Providers (MSP) and Microsoft Services Providers Licence Agreement (SPLA) markets.
