4G Launch - Testing The Everything Everywhere Service In Manchester
The UK #39;s first fourth generation (4G) mobile service has gone live in 11 cities. London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow and Southampton gained access to network EE #39;s 4G from Tuesday morning. Rory Cellan-Jones tested the live service in a Manchester cafe, and talked to local technology expert Rajesh Joshi - who works for a cloud hosting service - about the benefits the service might bring.
